Spark Motion Support
Spark Motion support covers Spark Motion Create on Mac and Spark Motion Viewer for iPhone. The support path is combined because both apps belong to the same layout education and ball motion learning system.
Mac Setup and Performance
Spark Motion Create is designed for Mac because the 3D layout and motion previews depend on high quality animation and graphics tooling. Apple-silicon Macs are the best fit for smooth scene rotation, layout previews, and synthetic motion testing.
If the 3D workspace feels slow, update macOS, restart the app after App Store updates, and close heavy video, screen-recording, or graphics workloads before opening the Ball Layout Tool or Layout Test Center.
Lessons, Layouts, and Synthetic Testing
Users should start with the lessons when core response, RG, differential, PAP, or layout concepts are new. Spark Motion Create is meant to teach the idea before asking the user to build layout files.
Saved layout models can be opened in the Layout Test Center to compare motion on 35 foot, 39 foot, and 43 foot oil patterns. The synthetic test center is a learning and planning tool, not a promise that every real lane surface will behave identically.
Customer Cards and Ball Arsenals
Designers can create customer cards with span cuts, PAP, notes, thumbs, inserts, and grip preferences before building layout files.
Customer metadata travels into the Ball Layout Tool and helps the customer arsenal view show what motion options already exist, what may be missing, and what the designer may want to plan next.
Spark Motion Viewer
Spark Motion Viewer 26 is the iPhone companion for receiving and opening shared Spark Motion layout files. It contains the viewing, lesson, inspection, and playback portions of the Spark Motion system without the Mac layout designer workflow.
The Spark Motion Viewer 26 App Store ID is 6810751032, and its App Store URL is https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6810751032.
This support page covers both Spark Motion Create and Spark Motion Viewer so users have one place to understand the product family.
Opening Shared Layout Files
Spark Motion layout files use the .smx extension. A designer can send a saved layout file to a bowler through Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or Files.
On iPhone, tap the .smx attachment. If iPhone shows the raw file preview, tap the Share button and choose Spark Motion Viewer from the share sheet.
After the file opens in Spark Motion Viewer, the bowler can drag the ball to inspect it, show or hide the shell, show or hide layout markings, reset the view, and play the saved layout motion.
Spark Journal is available from Apple for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can also learn more on the Spark Journal iPhone and iPad App Store page and the Spark Journal Desktop Mac App Store page.
